Risks/Downtime
- There are very few reported side effects with these products when used for cheek filler, bruising being the most common as with any injections. This is commonly very minimal and can be covered effectively with make up.
- Generally, there is no downtime after a filler injection.
- While each patient is different, most return to their normal activities right away.
- You should expect to be there for 40 minutes for cheek filler injections, as all our consent forms are to be completed online prior to appointment we take time for a face to face consultation at the start of your appointment.
Before and After Care
Avoid Alcohol and Ibuprofen for 24 hours before and after Dermal Fillers or Cheek Filler treatments. Do not go to the gym/sunbed/sauna for 24 hours after cheek filler treatment. Please also try not to touch the area for 24 hours after to avoid infection.
