How Long Do Dermal Lip Fillers Last?…
Each person is different, I would advise to expect 6 – 18 months before the Dermal Filler start to be broken down naturally. If for any reason you wished to dissolve the lip fillers before they breakdown themselves we can offer a dissolving treatment in which we use hyaluronidase to dissolve the lip filler – this process takes 3-7 days and is relatively pain free. In most cases all of the dermal filler is dissolved in 1-2 sessions but on rare occasion it can take more.
What are Dermal Lip Fillers you ask…?
Naturally occurring sugar which is found naturally within the skin called hyaluronic acid is mimicked within the dermal fillers, this is then injected with a very fine needle into the lips with the discussed technique. The results are lips that are more contoured and more enhanced. There is always an option of using a numbing cream or dental block (additional cost of £30.00 for dental block).
Before and After Care…

Avoid Alcohol and Ibuprofen for 24 hours before and after Dermal Fillers or Cheek Filler treatments. Do not go to the gym/sunbed/sauna for 24 hours after cheek filler treatment. Please also try not to touch the area for 24 hours after to avoid infection
We also offer Dermal Filler dissolving although would always recommend requesting that the injector that carried out the treatment to do it as a first option.
